If 2020 has taught us anything, it is that online and digital communication is more important than ever in our industry.
That’s why we were excited to learn that PhilipWebb has taken home the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV)‘s Best Website Award for 2020!
This is the second time that we’ve taken home the award, after previously winning it in 2018 and being listed as a finalist in 2019.
It’s interesting to think that only two decades ago, people believed that ‘this internet thing’ wouldn’t work out – sales agents didn’t have computers on their desk, and our agency had less than 10 computers in an office of 100.
But how things have changed! As the industry has evolved, so too has technology, and the demand to be digitally literate. It’s no longer enough to be a fantastic agency – first impressions matter, and websites are often the first point of contact for potential buyers and clients. That’s why we’ve always made a particular effort to ensure that the listings on our website are easy to search, navigate and explore, and that users can speak to a consultant as quickly as possible.
Whilst websites cannot replace face-to-face interaction, they are transforming the way our clients can access our fantastic properties online and communicate with our team. In addition to our social media presence, virtual auctions and online styling consultations, we’re always looking for new ways to enhance the digital PhilipWebb experience.
